Established in 1981, Tick Tock Playgroup has grown from a small portacabin to where we are today.

We provide high quality full time and part time childcare, for children between the ages of 4 months to 5 years old.

We are conveniently located by the Ellendune shopping centre, Wroughton and are close to Wroughton Infants School. We are open from 8 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year (except bank holidays)

We also offer term-time only contracts for parents who do not require childcare during the holidays. Additionally, we offer breakfast club to those children who attend Wroughton Infants School and our Tick Tock holiday club that runs through the holidays for children aged 4 years – 11 years old, provides your child with lots of fun activities to keep them mentally and physically challenged.

At Tick Tock Playgroup we strive to provide the best care in nursery education and to establish a close partnership with parents and carers. We provide a bright and exciting environment for children to thrive and have a wide choice of equipment and activities.
Our team of qualified , highly experienced and dedicated practitioners recognise that each child develops at his/her own pace and staff at our playgroup are trained to understand that the development of children in their early years is of prime importance.

Our ethos is the recognition that childhood is not simply a launching pad for further stages of life, but a unique and precious time to be experienced and valued for itself. We take a child centered approach to learning and all children are encouraged to contribute and integrate through play.
We offer a balance of adult led and child led activities which enable children to develop in the prime areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. These include Personal, Social and Emotional; Communication and Language; and Physical development. As a result, they become more independent and more importantly they learn to enjoy the experiences offered to them.

We also provide a variety of outdoor activities where the children can engage in opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a natural environment.
