Forest Room ( 3 – 4 years old)
The Forest room is an exciting and engaging space, where children have the opportunity to explore independently under the supervision of our experienced staff. Within the Forest room we have numerous areas for the children to play as part of our continuous provision including, small world, role play, maths, and literacy areas.
Daily activities are planned by staff to provide guided learning opportunities around the children’s interests. In addition, our older children are given focused time in a separate area where we can work with smaller groups of children in a quieter environment to promote and build the skills, they will need in order to be ready for school.
Our daily routine starts with a brief circle time before we open the garden to offer free flow play between both inside and out, with all areas closely supervised by qualified staff. We offer a free healthy snack at 10am, with lunch at 12pm where like the other rooms we offer a choice of either purchasing a hot dinner or bringing a cold healthy packed lunch
